CYDNEY FROM NASHVILLE, TN

Loved, loved, loved the show!!! I hope Boz knows how much the audience was digging his music. He was in great form. The band was terrific, and the Ryman Auditorium was fantastic.

NICE MELLOW EVENING

Boz has been on my list of folks I have NOT seen live, and this date and venue finally worked with my schedule. It was a smooth, laid back evening of great listening. I did notice the band had some hiccups here and there, but nothing terrible and I guess not necessarily all that noticeable to a majority of the crowd based on the reviews. But, at 74 years old I could not believe how intact his voice was. He must have never smoked; good for him = good for us! Thoroughly enjoyed him. He never struggled once, just a smooth transition from song to song and he was so at ease, we could have been sitting in his living room. Side note - at 51 years old, my friend and I may have been the youngest people there...lol. Maybe too mellow for some of the younger crowd, but we really enjoyed the show. :)

BOZ SCAGGS AT THE STATE THEATER, MINNEAPOLIS

Great show; we've seen him many times at the State. We did note the absences of Miss Monet, his backing vocalist who has been a huge part of the show for many years, and a percussionist, who used to keep the band together through his musical direction; there was also has a new drummer (a very good one) . We thought the band was slightly less tight and sound engineering a bit off. They did old standards and cuts from more recent albums, a mix we love. The show was close to two hours with the encore. Boz Scaggs is a favorite of ours, and while the changes are noticeable, the show was definitely worth seeing. We hope he continues the annual tradition of visiting here, and the State Theater is an awesome venue with good acoustics and stunning architecture.

BOZ PHILLY

One hour show plus two encores, comprising 2 songs and one song, respectively. Boz's voice sounds great. Needs to play more from Silk Degrees album. Venue is old but sounds great.

Sorry to say, the old guy put the place to sleep.
