A NO!!!!

Not worth the time and insult to the original. Too much raunchy behavior and nothing like the original. The originals I’m sure are turning over in their graves. Not even close to how the GG would act.

DISAPPOINTED

I was looking so forward to see the Golden girls play, but I feel like I was at. Raunchy drag Queen show, a disgrace to The Golden Girls. Why take such a good show and turn it into a x rated embarrassment? I bet the girls are turning in their graves

DEFINITELY-DON’T GO

The only reason I gave it a 2 was because the acting was entertaining at times. The story line was difficult to follow. We saw the play at the Barbara Mann in Ft.Myers, and the sound system was terrible. You knew the jokes were raunchy, but you couldn’t hear the lines to get the point. I thought the off color jokes were definitely over done. We left at intermission, as did other patrons. A waste of money. As we left, a Barbara Mann usher apologized, she commented it was their sound system not ours.

DISAPPOINTED

The two stars are for the set and the actors sounding like the original Golden Girls. I was so disappointed in this show’s script. I left before intermission. The sex jokes, story of drugs at the old folks home, and foul language overtook the first act. It didn’t do the original Golden Girls justice.

WE LEFT AT INTERMISSION AS DID OTHERS

There aren’t enough words to describe what a waste of time this amateurish production was, but poor acting, terrible enunciation, vulgar/graphic language, and an insult to the original production will do for a start. Where was the wittiness? Where was the creativity? Where were the nuances versus the in-your-face brash lines? This was the worst play I’ve ever seen anywhere. What a pathetic offering at well known Clowe’s Hall. Now I understand why the theater was almost empty when we took our seats. It should’ve been completely empty,

DON’T GO!

It was horribly raunchy and a disgrace to the original show. Foul language and sexual acts over and over and over. It got really old . No programs were given out and we could barely see from our seats. I am not a prude by no means, and a good sexual joke can be funny, but these jokes were not funny. I got a group of five women to go to this play, and now I feel responsible that it turned out to be a dud. We had more fun afterwards going out to dinner and going for a walk. What a disappointment!!
