A Night At The Movies With A Twist

Experience the thrill of the cinematic blockbuster with the exciting added element of a live orchestra! The Grand Rapids Symphony and Principal Pops Conductor Bob Bernhardt invite audiences to feast their ears on a smorgasbord of film theme arrangements from a few golden eras of Hollywood, plus film clips, montages and vintage still images.

The evening's bill is comprised of iconic movie moments from Gone With The Wind, Dr. Zhivago, James Bond, The Pink Panther, Moon River, Dances With Wolves, Ben Hur and Rocky, amongst other box office smash hits. From the stirring pomp and brass strains of Max Steiner's greatest works to the Oscar-winning motion picture music of Bill Conti, the sonic celebration of Tinsel Town is not to be missed.
